Your mission
- Your focus will be the introduction of new products into the pharmaceutical excipient market. This includes the process of introducing those products, in close collaboration with sales, business development and R&D, innovation, and production.
- Ensure regular knowledge transfer between R&D and sales on your portfolio and manage legal, regulatory, and toxicological data, functionality, literature, and patent research with relevant functions (e.g., QA and regulatory affairs).
- Provide on-going business decision support in organic growth and investment within current and future product portfolio.
- Manage the whole product life cycle of those products, including target group analysis, competitor analysis, trend analysis, pricing policies (e.g., value-based pricing), product marketing and sales support.
- Periodical portfolio evaluation, check plan-actual comparison, and take corrective actions if necessary to assure sustainable and profitable growth of the portfolio.
- Provide technical input and assist in creating marketing documentation such as posters, brochures, flyers, presentation, and trade fair material; conduct training sessions and deliver technical presentations at trade fairs and events.
- Assure in day-to-day operations that introduced products have adequate technical complaint handling within the departments and participate in quality-related product topics for continuous improvement (incl. CAPAs, change management, audits, and customer questionnaires).
- Support new customer acquisitions including lead generation in Pharma, Veterinary and Diagnostics
- Attend seminars, conventions and trade fairs including booth supervision, if requested
- Accompany sales managers on business trips and provide technical support.
